I decided to unsubscribe from a website. When I reached to subscription page, I deselected all options and submitted.
However, on the next page I was asked "WHY" I was unsubscribing. In a sudden, I thought if I had subscribed before then Why?
And Why really I'm unsubscribing?
I went back into mail list and checked few newsletters then I stopped taking action to unsubscribe.
Why? Because I noticed that their letter contains some useful stuff and they are sending me some good stuff, not bad.
So, I think letting user stop for a moment with "WHY" question works and it is possible that your subscriber change decision on last moment.
